2020 WA Hobie State Championships, Esperance – Registration

The 2020 WA Hobie State Championships will be hosted by Esperance Bay Yacht Club over the Easter weekend in April 2020. To register please fill out the form below and submit it. After you have submitted the form you will be redirected to our payment page. Payment can be made via Pay Pal or Credit Card. Your registration is successful once we have received your payment.

The 2020 State Titles will be at Esperance Bay Yacht Club over the Easter weekend in April 2020. Please refer to the Notice of Race for official details.

Regatta events include registration and welcome dinner on the evening of Friday 10th April, sailing over Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th, and concludes with a Hobie family fun day on Monday 13th, including a self drive tour of National Parks and a BBQ camp-out at Greg and Karyn Hill’s new eco-resort – Dunn’s Ecopark.”

Indemnity and Insurance

Release and Indemnity. I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and all other rules that govern this event. I agree that none of the organisations, persons involved in the running of this event, sponsors, promoters, class association or any other involved persons or parties accepts liability for damages due in negligence or any other reason whatsoever while conducting or connected with this event for injury, to property or person, I may suffer while participating in the event and while upon the event premises. I know the risks of danger to myself and my property while preparing for and participating in the event, and while upon the event premises, relying upon my own judgment and ability, assume all such risks of loss and hereby agree to reimburse all costs to those persons or organizations connected with this event for damages incurred as a result of my negligence. I agree that skipper and crew (if applicable) comply with RRS 46 and the AYF prescription and hold a valid Silver Card. An international competitor is exempt from the AYF prescription but must still be a member of a club affiliated to ISAF recognised Member National Authority

Fee includes Membership for both Skipper and Crew.

Regatta Fees
Entry Fee includes race fee, presentation night dinner and T-shirts for all teams. The Early Bird Registration will end on the 12th March COB. A Late Entry Fee of $300 ($185 for Youth) will occur from the 13th of March.
Tee Shirts

Tee shirts are included for Helm and Crew in the regatta fees. Please indicate your preferred sizes for Helm and Crew.

Good Friday - Fish Dinner
A taste of the Southern Ocean Fish meal at Ocean Room EBYC $25 adults and $15 for children under 14.

Monday Eco Park Tour
Self drive Four wheel drive (beach) or road tour to Cape Le Grand National Park on Monday 13th April. Support our sponsors, Greg and Karyn Hill, and visit their new venture, Dunn’s Ecopark. This event is free, just pay your own National Park entry fee and BYO drinks and snacks. Celebration drinks and late lunch provided to those who register number of people attending. Greg offers fee camping for everyone who wants to stay overnight. To help us with planning, please indicate if you are planning to join us for the day and how many people.
